NBHS Homecoming Festivities Next Week

The North Baltimore Homecoming will take place from October 5 through October 10 this year. The theme for the 2015 Fall Homecoming is “Back to the 80’s”. Each grade has a different 80’s theme to decorate their float with. Seniors have Grease; juniors have Star Wars; sophomores have Beetle Juice; freshmen Footloose; 8th grade was assigned Indiana Jones, and 7th grade has PacMan.

Spirit days will start on Monday, October 5th with Pajama day. On Tuesday, students and staff will dress up by participating in teacher/student swap day. For Wednesday, NB will have twin day. On Thursday, they are asked to dress all out in anything 80’s. Then as usual, the week will end with Tiger Spirit Day on Friday as the school shows their spirit in hopes that the Tigers defeat Cory Rawson.

Also during this week each class, 7th through 12th grade, will participate in The Battle of the Classes by doing different activities such as tug of war during the pep rally.

The annual powder puff game has been scheduled for Thursday, October 8th at 7 p.m. at the football field, with the bonfire following. Practice for powder puff will be Tuesday at 7 p.m.

Parade lineup will be Friday, October 9th at 4:45 in front of Powell, with stepoff at 5:30. Come out and support your NB Tigers and court! Kindergarten prince and princess are Levi Vanderberg and Lacy Allison. Freshmen escort and attendant are: Brady Rader and Alivia Light. The sophomores are Noah Pelton and Paige Hyatt; juniors are Aurelian Greeno and Makayla Light; and seniors are Hank Matthes and Kenzie Carles, Alex Nichols and Cheyenne Hernandez, and Tyler Stimmel and Emma Rister.

The Homecoming dance will be held on October 10th from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. in the auditeria. All students 9-12 grade are encouraged to attend. Cost is $5 and tickets can be purchased at the door. Please wear your formal attire.
