NAMI Wood County would like to remind you about our 12th Annual Dinner, where we will share an evening focused on celebrating the beauty of Resiliency. Gather with us at the Stone Ridge Golf Club for dinner, silent auction fun, awards, and Keynote speaker, Dr. Ken Newbury.
Dr. Ken Newbury, or Dr. Ken, as his students call him is a lifelong educator. He is described by many of his students as the best professor at Bowling Green State University and as “life changing”. A former family therapist, game show host, elementary principal, ethics trainer, author and music director, Dr. Ken’s passion is teaching for leadership and change. Dr. Ken’s recent project was to write, direct and produce a film on the opioid epidemic. Dr. Ken combines magic, humor and a powerful message to help participants reconnect with their humanity and stand up to injustice.
Please join us Monday April 15th, 2019 as we celebrate resilience, and say thank you to all of our supporters for another wonderful year at NAMI Wood County! The evening will begin with a silent auction, fellowship, and cash bar at 5:00 PM. A dinner buffet will follow at 6:00. Tickets for the event are $35.00.
Please contact the NAMI Wood County office at 419-352-0626 or [email protected] for ticket information. The deadline to register is April 5, 2019.
