(Swanton, Ohio) – More than 250 Airmen and 12 F-16 Fighting Falcons from the Ohio Air National Guard’s 180th Fighter Wing deployed last week to Amari Air Base, Estonia, as part of a Theater Security Package in support of Operation Atlantic Resolve. The TSP provides a robust U.S. military presence in the European theater, capable of deterring and responding to regional threats.
During the TSP the 180FW will conduct large-force employment training alongside NATO allies and regional partners in an effort to strengthen interoperability and demonstrate the U.S.
commitment to the security and stability of Europe. The U.S. Air Force routinely deploys aircraft and personnel to Europe.
