I – 75 to CLOSE COMPLETELY from Cygnet Rd. to US 6

The Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) District Two announces that , southbound I-75, between US 6 and Cygnet Road, will be completely closed for pavement repair. Traffic will be detoured from southbound I-75 to US 6 (Exit 179) to SR 25 to Cygnet Road. Traffic will return to southbound I-75 from Cygnet Road.

A CAMPAIGN TO KEEP THE VIRGINIA THEATER OPEN

The Virginia Theater has shown movies in North Baltimore for 77 years (July 10, 1937) by projecting light through film onto the silver screen. That method is over! Movie projection has changed from 35 millimeter film to digital projection.
The Virginia Theater needs strong support to help finance the transition from film to digital projection, thus keeping the theater open on Main Street in downtown North Baltimore.

Bishop nominated for JJ Huddle honors – needs YOUR vote!

North Baltimore High School Senior Quarterback Lane Bishop has been nominated for the JJ Huddle.com Player of Week. Here are Lane’s stats for last Friday night vs. Vanlue: the NB QB accounted for 529 yards of offense and seven TDs in a 54-20 win over Vanlue. He completed nine-of-17 passes for 294 yards and three TDs and ran the ball 15 times for 235 yards and four TDs. He also tied a state record for the longest rushing TD with a 99-yard fourth quarter TD run.
