Jeffrey Senecal – Track (2009)
Jeffrey graduated from NB in 2009 and stood out as a track and cross country star during his time here at NBHS. He was a three time regional qualifier in the high jump and placed two times. He also qualified for regionals in long jump and cross country. Here at NB, he held the school record in high jump and is in the top ten of all time for cross country in the school’s history.
Jeffery’s athletic career didn’t stop with NB though; he went on to be a DI athlete at the University of Detroit Mercy. In college his best high jump was 6 feet 3 and one quarter inches, his career long jump record was 19 feet 9 and a half inches, triple jump 43 feet 1 and a half inches, and javelin throw was 127 feet 11 inches. While at UDM Jeffrey competed in the heptathlon and decathlon. Jeffrey’s college bests rank him on the Titan’s all-time leader boards. He is 8th in the High Jump, 9th in the Triple Jump, tied for 9th in the Pole-Vault, 4th in the Heptathlon, and 2nd in the decathlon. Overall, Jeffrey competed in 18 different events collegiately. NB is proud to welcome Jeffery back and give him a spot in our hall of fame.
Baley (DeLancy) Thiel – Softball (2008)
Baley is a 2008 graduate from NBHS. At the end of her freshman year of high school she was awarded Softball Rookie of the Year. She was a member of the Regional Runner Up Team in 2006. In 2007, Baley was awarded 2nd Team All-State as well as 1st Team District for her accomplishments in softball. She was also awarded 1st team M.A.L. three times throughout her high school athletic career. We welcome Baley to the NB Hall of Fame.
William Kyttle – Cross Country (2004)
William Kyttle a graduate from 2004, is unable to attend tonight because he currently lives in Madison, Alabama.
While at NB he ran cross country and track and field, lettering all four years. He was team captain for both teams his senior year. William is the current record holder for cross country with a time of 16:43. William previously held the 3200 meter race record in track with a time of 10:17.20.
After NB, he went on to Tiffin University where he continued in both sports for 3 years, until an injury occurred his senior year. While at Tiffin, his personal best in cross country was 26 minutes, 37 seconds for an 8k and 33 minutes 51 seconds for a 10k. In track and field, he ran a 9 minute 4 second 3k; 15 minute 40 second 5k; and 33 minute 1 second 10k. NB is happy to have a spot for William in the hall of fame.
Megan Dukes – Softball (1997)
Megan Dukes graduated from NB in 1997. During her freshman year, North Baltimore decided to add a JV softball team for the first time, and Megan was the 3rd baseman. As a sophomore she was the offensive player of the year, a title she would again receive as a junior and senior when she was also team captain. Her junior year she had her first no hitter against Leipsic. This was followed by a no hitter against Carey her senior year.
Throughout her high school softball career she also received 1st team MAL, All Wood County Honorable Mention, MVP, and various other awards. In 1997 her Wood County best record was 187 strike outs in 152 innings; 1.47 ERA; 33 runs; 25 RBI’s; .425 batting average; and 13 extra base hits.
Megan continued her playing career by helping to start another program at Owens Community College. In 1999 she earned honorable mention NJCAA – All Region 12 honors. She was also honorable mention all OCCAC. Megan was the recipient of the coach’s award, and was ranked as high as 5th nationally in strikeouts among NJCAA Division III Teams. NB is delighted to honor Megan with the hall of fame.
