Interstate 75 Widening AT North Baltimore – April 21 & 22

Effective tonight through Wednesday, April 22, from 8pm until 6am, single lane restrictions are possible in both directions on I-75 at Eagleville Road for relocation of construction access points.

BOWLING GREEN (Tuesday, April 21, 2015) – The Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) District Two announces the following update to the Interstate 75 widening project. Updates are highlighted in bold and underlined:

Interstate 75: Widening 

Wood & Hancock Counties (170-14, 199-14, 237-14 & 3000-14): Effective tonight through Wednesday, April 22, from 8pm until 6am, single lane restrictions are possible in both directions on I-75 at Eagleville Road for relocation of construction access points. 

Through 2016, southbound I-75 is reduced to two lanes from US 20 to I-475 in Perrysburg.

Through November, from 8pm until 6am, single lane restrictions are possible on I-75 between the I-75/I-475 interchange in Perrysburg to CR 99 in Hancock County.

Through 2016, 11-foot lane width restrictions are in place on I-75 between US 20 in Perrysburg to CR 99 in Hancock County.

Effective Monday, April 27, through December, Township Road 101 in Hancock County, between CR 220 and TR 142, will be closed for bridge work on I-75. Project complete: October 2017.  All work is weather permitting.

Beyond Gypsy Lane Exhibition

LeSo Gallery, located at 1527 Starr Avenue in Toledo, presents Beyond Gypsy Lane. For this one night exhibition, LeSo partners with Bowling Green State University students to exhibit their service learning project which explores the lives of adults with developmental disabilities. In cooperation with Wood Lane, students explored these individuals’ lives and experiences in the workplace. Open to public.

Lady Tigers fall to H – L in softball

North Baltimore High School Softball took to the road for a BVC game with Hopewell – Loudon on Monday afternoon, for a cold and nasty softball game.

North Baltimore High School Softball took to the road for a BVC game with Hopewell – Loudon on Monday afternoon, for a cold and nasty softball game.

The Lady Tigers took a 2 – 0 lead into the 4th inning, when the Chieftains tied the game. In the top of the 7th NB broke the tie scoring one run, but H – L came up in the bottom of the 7th with the win, by scoring 2 runs, winning 4 – 3.

Bailey Boyer led NB with a single and a double; Makayla Light had a single and double and an RBI; Cheyenne Hernandez and Olivia Frost each had 2 singles.

Hernandez was the losing pitcher, falling to 3 – 4 on the season.

NB is 4 – 9 and 3 – 2 in the BVC.

Tiger take 1st BVC Baseball loss

Errors lead to big rally for Hopewell – Loudon in Blanchard Valley Conference action.

North Baltimore High School Baseball lost 8-6,  leading 5-2 into the 5th the Tigers committed 3 errors and left the inning trailing 6-5.  Noah Brian took the loss for NB.
Sean Watson had a double and an RBI single, Brice Lennard had 2 singles and an RBI  for the Tigers.
Hopewell’s  Park had the game winning 2-run Home Run in the sixth inning for the Chieftains.
North Baltimore is now 11-3 overall  and 5-1 in the BVC.
The boys travel to Rossford tonight for a non-league game at 5:00 pm.

Church of the Good Shepherd United Methodist

Church of the Good Shepherd United Methodist will celebrate the Fourth Sunday of  Easter on April 26, 2015 with worship beginning at 10:15 am.  Rev. Susan Kronbach will preach Jesus’ “I am” sayings from the gospel of John – this week, “I am the good shepherd.”

Sunday School for youth and adults is held at 9:15 am, and during worship following the children’s moments for elementary school age children.  Please plan to join us!

Other activities at the church this week include choir practice each Wednesday evening at 7:00 pm

Bairdstown United Methodist Church
