“Friends of Jesus” is Pastor Ralph Mineo’s sermon topic at St. Luke’s Lutheran Church in North Baltimore on Sunday, May 10 at 10:15 a.m. Sunday School for all ages begins at 9:00 a.m.

St. Luke’s will host the 4th Annual American Cancer Society Benefit Recital featuring Emily Meyerson (soprano), Janet Goldner (pianist), Benjamin Pack (clarinet) on Saturday, May 9 at 3:00 p.m. 100% of the profits will be donated to the American Cancer Society. The public is invited.

The Church Council of St. Luke’s will meet on Monday, May 11 at 7:00 p.m.

BOWLING GREEN (Friday, May 8, 2015) – The Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) District Two announces the following update to the US 6 bridge repair project in Wood County.  Updates are highlighted in bold and underlined. 

U.S. Route 6: Pavement Reconstruction and Bridge Work

Wood County (170-14): Tonight at 9pm through Saturday, May 9 at 5am, US 6, between County Home Road and SR 25, will be closed for beam installation.  Detour: eastbound US 6:  southbound I-75; Cygnet Road (Exit 171); northbound I-75. Detour westbound US 6: northbound I-75; SR64/SR105 (Exit 181); southbound I-75.

Through October, the ramp from southbound I-75 to eastbound US 6 is closed.  Detour: westbound US 6; SR 25.  Through October, US 6, between SR 25 and Dunbridge road, is reduced to one lane in each direction.  Lane widths are restricted to 11ft in this work zone.

Work complete: October.  All work is weather permitting.

North Baltimore Board of Education will hold a Special Board Meeting on Tuesday, May 12th at 6:00 PM at the Board of Education Office at 201 S. Main Street, North Baltimore.

The meeting is being called to pass a resolution to close-out the Ohio School Facilities Project that began in 2009.
