The 1995 North Baltimore High School Tiger Football team will be honored and celebrating the 20th Anniversary of their 10 – 0 season tonight at Memorial Field.

The 1995 North Baltimore High School Tiger Football team will be honored and celebrating the 20th Anniversary of their 10 – 0 season tonight at Memorial Field.

Kelly Woodruff and Butch Light are organizing a 20 year reunion for the 1995 football team. The team will be recognized prior to NB’s home game with Van Buren on Sept. 25, 2015. – MEET AT THE NORTH END CONCESSION STAND BY 6:00 (according to a post on Facebook)

“Yes it’s been 20 years, very hard to believe. Butch has coordinated with the school, to have the 1995 Football Team recognized at the Football Game Friday Sept. 25th. The Fighting Tigers will be hosting the Black Knights at 7pm. The 1995 team will meet Friday Night at 6:00pm in the concession stand area. It will be great to reunite with everyone.

We will also be meeting at the Eagles on Saturday Sept. 26th, more details to follow for Saturday. Yes we will all probably have to hear about the catch once or twice, so prepare yourself for a few good laughs.

Allen County
Interstate 75 Reconstruction project For the most recent information concerning the Interstate 75 reconstruction project through Lima and Allen County please visit www.odotlima75.org.
Defiance County
U.S. 24 between Ohio 15 and Kraus Road, both eastbound and westbound, will be reduced to one lane through the work zone for cleaning of bridge decks. Work is being performed by the Defiance County ODOT maintenance garage.
Buckskin Road at Ohio 15 will be closed for the week for a culvert replacement. Work is being performed by the Defiance County ODOT maintenance garage
Hancock County
U.S. 224 from Trenton Avenue in Findlay to County Road 212 east of Findlay including Main Street will be restricted through the fall for a resurfacing project. Work is currently occurring on the east end of the project moving west. Occasional lane closures should be expected during both daytime and nighttime hours. Asphalt work is occurring during nighttime hours during the week, generally between 5 p.m. and 3 a.m. During daytime hours work on pavement striping will occur generally between 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Work on Main Street from Center Street to Trenton Avenue is expected to begin during the week. Work is being performed by Bluffton Paving, Bluffton.
Interstate 75 northbound and southbound south of Findlay, from three miles south of the rest areas to the Interstate 75/Ohio 15 interchange is restricted to one lane in each direction for a joint repair and resurfacing project. The northbound and southbound driving lanes are currently closed while traffic is traveling in the passing lanes. Work at the rest area ramps will occur in the coming weeks and may result in short-term access restrictions to the rest areas. Work will continue through late fall. Work is being performed by Shelly Company, Findlay.
Interstate 75 in Wood and Hancock counties: Through 2016, southbound I-75 is reduced to two lanes from US 20 to I-475 in Perrysburg. Through November, from 8pm until 6am, single lane restrictions are possible on I-75 between the I-75/I-475 interchange in Perrysburg to CR 99 in Hancock County. Through 2016, 11-foot lane width restrictions are in place on I-75 between US 20 in Perrysburg to CR 99 in Hancock County. Project complete: October 2017. All work is weather permitting.
Special events . . .
 Effective Monday, April 27, through December, Township Road 101 in Hancock County, between CR 220 and TR 142, will be closed for bridge work on I-75.
Hardin County
Ohio 31 south of Ohio 292 between County Road 190 and County Road 200 closed September 14 for approximately 30 days for a culvert replacement. Traffic is detoured onto Ohio 292 and Ohio 47 back to Ohio 31. Work is being performed by Vernon Nagel, Inc., Napoleon.
Ohio 81 between County Road 159 east of Dunkirk and Township Road 165 closed August 31 for approximately 30 days for two culvert replacements. The route is expected to reopen by the beginning of the week. Traffic is detoured onto U.S. 68, U.S. 30, Ohio 37 and Ohio 53 back to Ohio 81. Work is being performed by Sand Ridge Excavating, Cloverdale.
Paulding County
Ohio 500 from Ohio 49 in Payne to the Indiana state line will undergo pavement repair beginning September 30. The project will close the road according to the following schedule. Work is being performed by Gerken Paving, Napoleon:
 Beginning September 30, Ohio 500 between Ohio 49 and County Road 21 will close for approximately two weeks. Access to residents will be available from Township Road 39, Township Road 33 and Township Road 21. All other traffic will be detoured onto County Road 1, Ohio 613 and Ohio 49 back to Ohio 500.
 Two weeks later, the section of Ohio 500 between Township Road 21 and County Road 1 (Indiana state line) will be closed for two weeks. Access to residents will be available from Township Road 21, County Road 11 and County Road 1. All other traffic will be detoured onto County Road 1, Ohio 613 and Ohio 49 back to Ohio 500.
 ODOT will coordinate with local landowners regarding access to residents and farm fields during the project.
Ohio 613 in Melrose will be closed September 30 for approximately three days for a culvert replacement. Traffic is detoured onto Ohio 637, Ohio 114 and Ohio 66 back to Ohio 613. Work is being performed by all Purpose Contracting.
U.S. 24 at U.S. 127 may be restricted through the work zone at times during slope repair. Work is being performed by the Paulding County ODOT maintenance garage.
Sealing of pavement cracks will restrict traffic to one lane through the work zone during the week at the following locations. Work is being performed by the Paulding County ODOT maintenance garage:
-Ohio 111 from U.S. 127 to Ohio 637
-Ohio 637 from Ohio 613 to Ohio 114
-Ohio 114 from U.S. 127 to Ohio 66
U.S. 127 between Garfield Avenue and Jackson Street in the village of Paulding closed April 13 for approximately eight months for a sewer separation project. Traffic is detoured onto Ohio 111, Ohio 637 and Ohio 114 back onto U.S. 127. Work is being performed by VTF Excavation, Celina.
Putnam County
Ohio 12 at the west edge of Columbus Grove will be closed October 7 for approximately five weeks for installation of sanitary sewer. Traffic detoured onto Ohio 65, U.S. 30 and Ohio 115 back to Ohio 12. Work is being performed by Underground Utilities, Inc.
Ohio 613 east of West Leipsic will be closed October 13 for approximately four days for culvert replacement at two locations. Traffic detoured onto Ohio 65, U.S. 224 and Ohio 235 back to Ohio 613. Work is being performed by the Putnam County ODOT maintenance garage.
Ohio 109 between Ottawa and the Henry County line will be reduced to one lane through the work zone for pavement repair. Work is being performed by the Putnam County ODOT maintenance garage.
Ohio 613 between 109 and 65 will be reduced to one lane through the work zone for pavement repair. Work is being performed by the Putnam County ODOT maintenance garage.
Ohio 189 at the east edge of Ottoville closed May 27 for an unplanned culvert repair. The road is closed for an indefinite amount of time. Traffic is being detoured onto Ohio 190, Ohio 634 and U.S. 224 back to Ohio 189.
Van Wert County
There are no projects scheduled during the week which will have a significant impact on traffic.
Wyandot County
U.S. 23/30 northbound and southbound at Upper Sandusky is currently unrestricted during a bridge, pavement repair and resurfacing project. Traffic will be affected again during the week as follows:
 Beginning September 28, U.S. 23/U.S. 30 will be restricted to one lane at the Ohio 53/Ohio 67 overhead bridge during repair of the bridge.
 Traffic on the bridge on Ohio 53/Ohio 67 will be restricted but maintained with a temporary signal during the work.
 Beginning Wednesday September 30, U.S.23 both northbound and southbound from south of Ohio 182 to just south of County Road 47 will be restricted to one lane throughout the entire length of the project area until early October.
The project will continue through October. Work is being performed by Kokosing Construction, Columbus.

Quilters to Meet Monday in Findlay

The day begins with the business meeting, along with Show and Tell.

Ohio Star Quilters of Findlay will be meeting on Monday, September 28, 9:30 am in Findlay at St. John’s Lutheran Church, 1701 Tiffin Avenue.

The day begins with the business meeting along with Show and Tell. Following this, Beverly McClarren will present trunk show of her quilts.

Harlene Wood will then lead everyone in making a quilted jacket. Bring a sweatshirt that is 2 sizes larger; for a longer shirt, bring a man’s sweatshirt. Do wash the shirt.

Bring sewing supplies along with desired fabric; fabric may be cut into strips between 1 ½ – 3 inches wide. Bring a sack lunch and continue quilting following lunch!

Church of the Good Shepherd United Methodist

 

Church of the Good Shepherd United Methodist will celebrate the 18th Sunday after Pentecost and Children’s Sabbath on Sunday, September 27 with worship beginning at 10:15 am.

Rev. Susan Kronbach will be preaching “Welcome the Children!” from Jesus’ teachings in Mark 9:33-37.   Sunday  School for youth and adults is held at 9:15 am, and during worship following the children’s moments for elementary school age children.

Other activities at the church this week include our “Picnic in the Parking Lot”  immediately following worship on Sunday, Sept. 27; Youth Fellowship Sunday evening, Sept. 27 – a hayride meeting at the church at 5:00 pm; and choir practice each Wednesday evening at 7:00 pm.

WCHS Hosts Annual Mutt Strut Event on September 27

The WCHS, located in Bowling Green, Ohio, is a private, non-profit managed admission shelter providing care for homeless and abused pets and investigating cruelty complaints in Wood County …..

(Bowling Green)— The Wood County Humane Society (WCHS) wants you to “Get out and wag a tail” at its upcoming Mutt Strut fundraising event on Sunday, September 27, 2015. The event will be held at the W. W. Knight Preserve in Perrysburg and will run from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m.

 

The centerpiece of this annual family friendly event is a walk to benefit the non-profit organization. Attendees are encouraged to walk with a pet, walk in memory of a pet, or even walk without a pet. Individuals can sign up to walk (and raise money) as a team on the organization’s Razoo page.

The WCHS Mutt Strut event also will feature a juried Beauty PAWgeant, which will begin at 1:00 pm. Throughout the day, attendees can enjoy face painting, a pet photo booth, food from local food trucks, and raffles.

Registration for the event will begin at noon. The cost of registration is $25, which includes registration for all participating humans and pets, an event T-shirt, participation in the walk, and one entry into the PAWgeant. Participants also can opt for the $100 registration, which includes registration for all participating humans and pets, two event T-shirts, and two raffle tickets. And for the $250 registration fee, participants receive registration for all participating humans and pets, two event T-shirts, two raffle tickets, and a special commemorative throw blanket (to be delivered after the event).

Proceeds from the Mutt Strut will help provide care for the homeless and abused animals housed at the WCHS. The money raised also will help pay for special programs sponsored by the organization, like the cruelty investigation division, a spay/neuter program, and Safe Pets, which helps people escaping domestic violence situations get temporary care for their pets through the WCHS.

New Show at the Virginia Theater in Downtown NB

Two children are sent to their grandparents house to spend a week with their grandparents while their single mom goes on a relaxing vacation with her boyfriend. One of the kids, Becca, decides to film a documentary about her grandparents in order to help her mom reconnect with her parents and also find out some things about her parents as well. While filming the documentary, however, Becca and her little brother, Tyler, discover a dark secret about their grandparents.

Lucas/Wood Counties

1. Interstate 75: Widening
Wood & Hancock Counties (170-14, 199-14, 237-14 & 3000-14):

Interstate Restrictions:

Through October, northbound I-75 in Perrysburg, between the ramp from northbound I-75 to westbound I-475 (Exit 192) and the ramp from eastbound I-475 to northbound I-75, is reduced to one lane for pavement work.  Motorists should be aware of traffic pattern changes in this area.

Through November, overnight, from 7pm until 6am, single lane restrictions are possible on I-75 between the I-75/I-475 interchange in Perrysburg and CR 99 in Hancock County.  Through 2016, southbound I-75 is reduced to two lanes from US 20 to I-475 in Perrysburg. Through 2016, 11-foot lane width restrictions are in place on I-75 between US 20 in Perrysburg and CR 99 in Hancock County.

·         The ramp from northbound I-75 to SR 582 is now open.

·         The ramp from SR 582 to northbound I-75 is now open.

Ramp Restrictions:

·         Through December, the ramp from southbound I-75 to westbound I-475 is reduced to one lane. 

·         Through July 2016, 11-foot lane width restrictions are in place on the ramps from northbound and southbound I-75 to Cygnet Road (Exit 171) and from Cygnet Road to northbound and southbound I-75.

Local Routes:

Through November, Jerry City Road at I-75 is closed for bridge work.  Detour: SR 25; SR 281; Solether Road.

Through December, Township Road 101 in Hancock County, between CR 220 and TR 142, is closed for bridge work over I-75.  Project complete: October 2017.  All work is weather permitting.

2. Interstate 75: Widening *UPDATE*
Lucas County (485-14, 536-14):
  Through July 2018, overnight, 7pm through 6am, single lane restrictions are possible on I-75, from I-475 in Toledo to I-280 for bridge work.  Through fall 2016, one lane of I-75 traffic is maintained in the current northbound lane and one lane of traffic is relocated to southbound I-75 and separated by barrier wall.

The following ramps are closed:

·         Through June 2016, the ramp from Phillips Avenue to northbound I-75.  Detour: Manhattan Boulevard; Lagrange Street; South Expressway Drive.

·         Through July 2016, the ramp from southbound I-75 to Phillips Avenue (Exit 206).  Detour: North Expressway Drive (Exit 207); Stickney Avenue; South Expressway Drive.

·         Through August 2016, the ramp from northbound I-75 to Jeep Parkway (Exit 205A).  Detour: Berdan Avenue (Exit 205B); Detroit Avenue.

·         Through October 2016, the ramp from northbound I-75 to Phillips Avenue (Exit 206).  Detour: south Expressway Drive (Exit 207); Stickney Avenue; North Expressway Drive.

·         Through July 2018, the ramp from Jeep Parkway to southbound I-75.  Detour: Berdan Avenue.

·         Through July 2018, the ramp from Willys Parkway to northbound I-75.  Detour: Berdan Avenue; Detroit Avenue; Phillips Avenue.

·         Through July 2018, the ramp from southbound I-75 to Willys Parkway (Exit 205A).  Detour: Detroit Avenue (Exit 203B).

Local Streets:

Through October, South Expressway Drive is restricted to a single lane between Stickney Avenue and Lagrange Street.

Effective Thursday, October 1 at 8pm, through Friday, October 2 at 2am, Phillips Avenue, between I-75 and Manhattan Boulevard, will be closed for drainage installation.  Detour: Manhattan Boulevard; Detroit Avenue; Phillips Avenue.  The ramp from Phillips Avenue to southbound I-75 will remain open. Through November, expect lane restrictions on Phillips Avenue at I-75, Lagrange Street at I-75, Berdan Avenue at I-75, Detroit Avenue at I-75, and Stickney Avenue at I-75 for bridge work.  

Through August 2016, Jeep Parkway from Central Avenue to Berdan Avenue is closed.  Central Avenue; Detroit Avenue; Berdan Avenue.

Through October 2016, the ramp from northbound I-75 to Berdan Avenue is restricted to right turn only movements.  Suggested alternate route: Berdan Avenue; Detroit Avenue; Phillips Avenue; Haverhill Drive.

Through May 2017, the Polish Village Overpass is closed for bridge work.  Detour: North Expressway Drive; Stickney Avenue; South Expressway Drive.

Through July 2018, Willys Parkway from Pioneer Lane to Jeep Parkway is closed.

Project complete: September 2018.  All work is weather permitting.

3. Interstate 75: Pavement Rehabilitation
Lucas County (268-14):
Through September, I-75, from the I-75/475 split in Toledo to the Anthony Wayne Trail, is reduced to two lanes. Overnight, 10pm through 6am, single lane restrictions are possible in this work zone. 

Ramp closures:

•      Through September, the ramp from Lawrence Avenue to southbound I-75 will be closed for pavement installation.  Detour: Monroe Street; Michigan Street.

•      Through September, the ramp from northbound I-75 to Bancroft Street is closed.  Detour: Berdan Ave (Exit 205B); Detroit Avenue.

•      Through September, the ramp from Collingwood Boulevard to northbound I-75 is closed.  Detour:  Dorr Street; Washington Street; 14th Street.

•      Through October, the ramp from southbound I-75 to Collingwood Boulevard will be closed for pavement installation.  Detour: Washington Street (Exit 202A); Dorr Street.

Through August 2016, the following ramps are restricted or closed:

·         The interchange ramp from eastbound I-475 to southbound I-75 is reduced to one lane.

·         The interchange ramp from northbound I-75 to westbound I-475 is reduced to one lane.

·         The ramp from D­etroit Avenue to southbound I-75 is closed.  Detour: Monroe Street; Michigan Avenue; SR 25.

·         The ramp from Detroit Avenue to northbound I-75 is closed.  Detour: Monroe Street; 14th Street.

Through May 2016, Oakwood Avenue, between Wells Street and Grove Place, is closed for bridge work.  Seek alternate route.  Project complete: August 2016.  All work is weather permitting.

4. Interstate 75: Rest Area Closure

Wood County (170-14)Through July 2016, the northbound and southbound I-75 rest areas are closed as part of the I-75 widening project. Project complete: July 2016.  All work is weather permitting.

 

5. Interstate 475: ProMedica Parkway Ramp
Lucas County:
  Through 2016, the ramp from ProMedica Parkway to eastbound I-475 is closed for traffic control.  Detour: westbound I-475; Douglas Road.  All work is weather permitting.

6. Interstate 475/U.S. Route 23: Interchange Upgrade
Lucas County (184-14 & 210-15):  
Through December, the ramp from southbound US 23 to Central Avenue is closed.  Detour: southbound I-475/US23; Airport Highway (Exit 8A).  Additionally at this time, southbound US 23 traffic is reduced to one lane from the I-475/US 23 split in Sylvania to Central Avenue.  The ramp from westbound I-475 to Central Avenue (Exit 13) is open.

Overnight lane restrictions are possible at the interchange of I-475/US 23 from Central Avenue to N. Holland Sylvania Road.  Through October, lane restrictions are possible on Blossman Road, between Moffat Road and Plainview Drive for bridge work.  Traffic will be maintained by flaggers.  Project complete: December.  All work is weather permitting.

7. Interstate 475: Bridge Widening
Lucas County (251-13 & 235-14):
  Through December, Angola Road at I-475 is closed for bridge replacement.  Detour: Holland Park Boulevard; North Mall Drive; McCord Road; Airport Highway; Holland Sylvania Road.  Through October, the ramp from westbound Airport Highway to northbound I-475 is closed.   Detour: southbound I-475; Salisbury Road/Dussel Drive (Exit 6).

Through May 2016, overnight from 8pm until 6am, lane restrictions are possible on I-475, between Angola Road and Salisbury Road/Dussel Drive.  11-foot lane width restrictions are in place on I-475, between Angola Road and Salisbury Road/Dussel Drive. Project complete: August 2016.  All work is weather permitting.  

8. Interstate 475: Noise Wall Installation *UPDATE*

Lucas County (314-14):  Through October, intermittent shoulder and lane restrictions are possible on I-475, between Corey Road and Woodley Road, for finish work.  Project complete: October.  All work is weather permitting.

9. Interstate 475: Pavement Work *UPDATE*

Wood County: Through October, overnight from 7pm to 6am, single lane restrictions are possible on I-475 in both directions between SR 25 and US 24 for pavement work.  All ramps will remain open.  All work is weather permitting.

10. Interstate Maintenance Work *UPDATE*

Lucas and Wood Counties:  Through Friday, October 9, nightly from 9pm to 6am, I-475, between the I-475/US 23 split and Monroe Street, may be reduced to one lane for pavement repair.  All ramps will remain open.  Effective Sunday, September 27 at 9pm, through Monday, September 28 at 5am, northbound I-75, between South Avenue and the Anthony Wayne Trail (SR 25), may be reduced to one lane for pavement repair.  Through December, intermittent overnight lane restrictions are possible on I-75, I-280 and I-475 in Lucas and Wood counties for maintenance work.  Project complete: December.  All work is weather permitting.

 

11. U.S. Route 20: Holland Sylvania Road & Reynolds Road Intersection Improvements

*PROJECT COMPLETE*
Lucas County (145-14 & 252-14):
 Work on Central Avenue from Fairbanks Avenue to Reynolds Road, and work on Holland-Sylvania Road, between Huntingfield Boulevard to Bonsels Parkway, is now complete.  Work at the intersection of Central Avenue and Reynolds Road for safety improvements is complete.

12. U.S. Route 20: Central Avenue Interchange Project
Lucas County (210-15): 
Through September 2017, overnight from 9pm until 6am, lane restrictions are possible on I-475/US 23 between Dorr Street and the I-475/US 23 interchange.  11-foot lane width restrictions are in place within the work zone. Additional restrictions will be announced.  Project complete: September 2017.  All work is weather permitting. 

 

13. U.S. Route 20: Utility Work

Lucas County: Through September, overnight from 9pm until 6am, lane restrictions are possible on Central Avenue, between I-475 and Central Park West, for gas line relocation.  For more information, contact Columbia Gas at 1-800-344-4077.  All work is weather permitting.

14. U.S. Route 20A: Eber Road Roundabout Project
Lucas County (184-15):
  Through November, US 20A at Eber Road will be closed for roundabout installation.  Detour: Airport Highway (SR 2); Crissey Road.  Project complete: November.  All work is weather permitting.

15. State Route 2: Anthony Wayne Bridge Project

Lucas County (58-13):  Through November, the Anthony Wayne Bridge is closed to vehicular and pedestrian traffic.  Detour: Oak Street; Fassett Street; Miami Street; I-75; Anthony Wayne Trail (Exit 201B); Monroe Street; Summit Street.  Through October, short-term intermittent, closures are possible on Yondota Street, Utah Street, Morris Street and Ottawa Street for bridge work.  Project complete: December.  All work is weather permitting.

16. State Route 25: Safety Project
Lucas County (299-15):
  Through November, motorists are advised of new a traffic pattern on the Anthony Wayne Trail, from Hippo Way to City Park Boulevard. Additionally, at this time, left turn movements to and from the Anthony Wayne Trail from South Avenue and Western Avenue will be permitted.

Through November 2016, the Anthony Wayne Trail, between Hippo Way and City Park Boulevard, is reduced to two lanes for intersection safety improvements and pavement replacement.  Project complete: November 2016.  All work is weather permitting. 

17. State Route 64: Roundabout and Realignment
Lucas County (143-15): 
Through October, intermittent lane restrictions are possible on SR 64 at Finzel Road for finish work.  Project complete: October.  All work is weather permitting.    

 

18. McCord Road: Underpass Construction
Lucas County (236-14):  
Through September 2016, McCord Road between North Mall Drive/Hall Road and Spectrum Drive is closed to vehicular and pedestrian traffic.  Detour: Holland Park Boulevard; North Mall Drive.  Project complete: November 2016.  All work is weather permitting.

19. U.S. Route 6: Pavement Reconstruction and Bridge Work
Wood County (170-14):
  Through June 2016, the ramp from southbound I-75 to eastbound US 6 is closed.  Detour: westbound US 6; SR 25.  Through June 2016, US 6, between SR 25 and Dunbridge road, is reduced to one lane in each direction.  Lane widths are restricted to 11ft in this work zone.  Work complete: June 2016.  All work is weather permitting.

20. State Route 64: Slide Repair
Wood County (155-15):
  Through September, a temporary traffic signal will be used to maintain one lane of traffic on SR 64, between Reitz Road and SR 64/65 Waterville Bridge for slide repair.  Through October, intermittent lane restrictions are possible within this work zone for slide repair.  Project complete: November.  All work is weather permitting.

21. State Route 65: Culvert Replacement *PROJECT COMPLETE*

Wood County (313-15):  Work on SR 65, between Five Point Road and River View Place, for culvert replacement is now complete.

22. State Route 105: Resurfacing

Wood County (99-15): Through September, intermittent lane restrictions are possible on SR 105, between Pemberville Road and US 23, for resurfacing.  Traffic will be maintained by flaggers.  Project complete: September.  All work is weather permitting.

23. State Route 235: Resurfacing

Wood County (441-15):  Through November, SR 235, between Willow Road and Old Coach Road, will be closed for resurfacing.  Detour: US 6; SR 65.  Project Complete: November.  All work is weather permitting.

 

24. State Route 420: Safety Improvements *UPDATE*

Wood County (423-14):  Through October, short-term, intermittent lane restrictions are possible on southbound I-280, between SR 795 and SR 163, and on SR 420, between SR 163 and I-80/I-90, for finish work.  Project complete: September.  All work is weather permitting.

25. State Route 582: Bridge Rehabilitation *UPDATE*

Wood County (154-15):  Through October, SR 582, between Stony Ridge Road and Layman Road is closed for bridge rehabilitation.  Detour: SR 199; SR 105; US 23.  Project complete: October.  All work is weather permitting. 

 

26. Park Avenue: Bridge Replacement

Wood County (3028-15):  Through September, intermittent lane restrictions are possible on Park Avenue in Fostoria, between Lincoln Avenue and Kennedy Lane, for finish work.  Project complete: September.  All work is weather permitting.

27. Jerry City Road: Bridge Replacement

Wood County (3028-15):  Through September, Jerry City Road, between Rudolph Road and Mitchell Road, is closed for bridge replacement.  Detour: Rudolph Road; Cygnet Road; Mitchell Road.  Through October, Jerry City Road, between Wingston Road and Potter Road, is closed for bridge replacement.  Detour: Wingston Road; Cygnet Road; Potter Road.  Project complete: November.  All work is weather permitting.

28. Tracy Road: Bridge Replacement *CLOSURE BEGINS MONDAY*

Wood County (3040-15):  Effective Monday, September 28, through November, Tracy Road, between Welling Road and Latcha Road, is closed for bridge replacement.  Detour: Latcha Road; Oregon Road; US 20.  Project complete: November.  All work is weather permitting.

29. Caris Road: Culvert Replacement
Wood County (312-15):
Effective Monday, October 5, through October, Caris Road, between SR 582 and Devils Hole Road, is closed for culvert replacement.  Detour: SR 582; SR 199; Devils Hole Road.  Additionally at this time, intermittent lane restrictions are possible on SR 582 at Caris Road. Traffic will be maintained by flaggers.  Project complete: October. All work is weather permitting.

30. State Route 2: Bridge Inspection *UPDATE*

Ottawa County:  Effective Monday September 28, from 8am until 3pm, expect single lane restrictions on the Thomas Edison Memorial Bridge (SR 2) in Ottawa County.

31. State Route 2: Lightner Road Bridge Widening

Ottawa County (232-15):  Through August 2016, intermittent lane restrictions are possible on SR 2, between SR 53/SE Catawba Road and SR 269, for bridge work.  Additionally, Lightner Road, between Kirk Road and East State Road, may be reduced to one lane for temporary pavement construction.  Traffic will be maintained by flaggers.  Additional restrictions will be announced.  Project complete: September 2016.  All work is weather permitting.


32. U.S. Route 6: Roundabout Construction
Sandusky County (8018-15
):  Through October, a temporary traffic signal is used to maintain one lane of traffic on US 6/SR 53, between Napoleon Road and Muskellunge Creek Road.  Through October, Muskellunge Creek Road, between Spieldenner Road and Gerwin Road, is closed.  Project complete: November.  All work is weather permitting.

33. State Route 412: Culvert Replacement *NEW WORK*

Sandusky County:  Effective Monday, October 5, through Friday, October 9, SR 412, between Rockwell Road/TR 310 and SR 101, will be closed for culvert replacement.  Detour: SR 101; US 20; SR 510.  All work is weather permitting.

34. State Route 510: Culvert Replacement *CLOSURE BEGINS MONDAY*

Sandusky County:  Effective Monday, September 28, through Friday, October 2, SR 510, between US 6 and SR 412, will be closed for culvert replacement.  Detour: US 6; US 20; SR 412 (Exit 103).  All work is weather permitting.

35. State Route 590: Culvert Replacement *PROJECT COMPLETE*

Sandusky County (194-15):  SR 590, between Havens Station Road and Greensburg Pike, is now open.  The culvert replacement is complete.

36. State Route 590: Culvert Replacement *WORK COMPLETE*

Sandusky County:  SR 590, between TR 127 and TR 161, is now open. The culvert replacement is complete.     

37. U.S. Route 23: Culvert Replacement

Seneca County:  Through Friday, October 9, US 23 between TR 96 to US 224 will be closed for culvert replacements.  Detour: SR 103; SR 53; SR 587; US 224.  All work is weather permitting.

38. State Route 19: Culvert Replacement

Seneca County (237-15):  Through October, lane restrictions are possible on SR 19, between US 224 and CR 58/Crawford Seneca County Line Road, for resurfacing. Traffic will be maintained by flaggers.  Project complete: October.  All work is weather permitting.

Williams/Fulton/Henry Counties

39. State Route 107: Bridge Rehabilitation
Williams County (153-15):
 Through September, intermittent lane restrictions are possible on SR 107, between CR 8 and CR 9 for finish work.  Traffic will be maintained by flaggers.  Project complete: September.  All work is weather permitting.

40. County Road 49/County Road 16: Bridge Replacement

Williams County (3036-15):  Through October, CR 49/CR 16, between CR I50 and CR J, will be closed for bridge replacement. Detour: CR J; SR 15; CR G. Project complete: November.  All work is weather permitting.

41. State Route 120: Culvert Replacement *NEW WORK*

Fulton County:  Effective Monday, October 5 through Saturday, October 10, SR 120, between CR 15-1 and CR 14-2, will be closed for culvert replacement.  Detour posted.  Effective Monday, October 12, through Saturday, October 17, SR 120, between SR 109 and CR 7, will be closed for culvert replacement.  Detour: SR 109; US 20; SR 64.  All work is weather permitting.

42. State Route 18: Culvert Replacement

Henry County (160-15):  Through September, SR 18, between CR 16 and CR 18, is closed for culvert replacement.  Detour: SR 281; SR 108. Additionally at this time, CR 17 at SR 18 is closed.  Project complete: October.  All work is weather permitting.

43. State Route 109: Damascus Bridge: Bridge Replacement

Henry County (1-15):  Through October 2017, motorists should watch for additional truck traffic near SR 109 at the Damascus bridge for bridge work.  Work impacting traffic will be announced.  Project complete: October 2017.  All work is weather permitting.
