Kay Katherene “Kathy” DeVaul, 52, of North Baltimore passed away at 10:25 p.m. Saturday, January 20, 2018 at the Bridge Hospice Care Center in Bowling Green.

Kay Katherene “Kathy” DeVaul, 52, of North Baltimore passed away at 10:25 p.m. Saturday, January 20, 2018 at the Bridge Hospice Care Center in Bowling Green.

She was born on Feb. 14, 1965 in Bowling Green, OH. On June 26, 2006, she married Bill DeVaul and he survives. Also surviving are her mother, Kay (Tom) Wagner; brother, Scott (Yolanda) Trimble; daughter, Samantha (Caleb Clark) Trimble; special niece, Nicki (Mike) Nichols, grandchildren, Lily Clark and Cole Nichols along with many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, in-laws and cousins. She was preceded in death by her father, Guy Trimble, brothers, JR; Jimmy and Darryl Trimble and nephew Danner Patton.

Sis was a 1983 graduate of Elmwood High School and retired from Hearthside Foods following 20 years of service. Kathy loved her family very much. She enjoyed traveling with her husband (especially on their Harley). She also enjoyed crocheting and quilting.

Visitation will be held from 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00 p.m. Thursday, January 25, 2018 at SMITH-CRATES FUNERAL HOME where the funeral service will be held on Friday, January 26, 2018 at 11:00 a.m.

Pastor Jim Tracy will officiate and burial will follow in Maplewood Cemetery, North Baltimore. Memorials may be made to Grace Speaks, 1331 Tiffin Avenue, Findlay, OH 45840.

180th Plans Night Exercises This Week

Toledo Air National Guard Unit Performing Night Flying

(Swanton, Ohio) – The Ohio Air National Guard’s 180th Fighter Wing is scheduled to conduct training flights at night beginning Tues., Jan. 23 through Thurs., Jan. 25, weather permitting. Area
residents may see or hear F-16 fighter jets taking off and landing until about 10:00 p.m. this week.

Training flights normally take place during daylight hours, but F-16 pilots and maintenance personnel are required to conduct night operations as part of their overall readiness training. The
180th Fighter Wing appreciates the continued support from the citizens of Ohio and Michigan as we continue to train in support of our mission.

*NEW PROJECT* – – – McComb: Waterline Improvements start next week

Northwestern Water and Sewer District Projects

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio, – The Northwestern Water and Sewer District (The District) delivers water and sewer services to over 19,000 customers in Wood, Sandusky and Hancock counties.  Although many of our construction and maintenance projects are performed underground, our utility work can impact roads throughout our area.  The District will announce updates and when additional projects are under contract.  All work is weather permitting.  Updates and additions are highlighted in bold and underlined.

Wood County

McComb: Waterline Improvements *NEW PROJECT*
Effective Monday, January 29, through June, lane restrictions are possible on portions of
 Todd, Scott, South and High Streets in McComb for waterline replacement. Traffic will be maintained by flaggers.  Project complete: June.   

Middleton Township – Water Line Installation*UPDATE*
Through January, lane restrictions are possible on Ovitt Road between Hull Prairie Road and Haskins Road (SR 64) for waterline instillation.  Traffic will be maintained by flaggers.  Waterline installation on Wingston Road, between Sand Ridge and Hodgeman Road in Plain and Liberty Townships, is expected to start following the completion of work on Ovitt Road.  Work on Rosendale Road will be announced. Project complete: March.

Middleton and Plain Townships – Potter Road Waterline Installation
Effective today, from 9am-4pm, Poe Road between Tontogany Road and Range Line Road will be closed for waterline installation.  Detour: Tontogany Road; Long-Judson Road; Range-Line Road.  Effective Tuesday, January 23, through February, expect lane restrictions on Potter Road from Poe Road to Long-Judson Road for waterline installation.  Traffic will be maintained by flaggers.  Project complete: March.

Millbury – Sanitary Sewer Improvements
Through June 2018, short-term, intermittent lane restrictions are possible throughout the Village of Millbury for sewer work and manhole repairs.  Project complete: June 2018.

Northwood and Perrysburg and Lake Townships – East Broadway Sewer Maintenance *UPDATE*
Through February,
 lane restrictions are possible on East Broadway Street between Walbridge and Wales Roads for sewer maintenance.  Traffic will be maintained by flaggers.  Project complete: February.

Perrysburg Township – Sanitary Sewer Improvements
Through July 2018, short-term intermittent lane restrictions are possible throughout Perrysburg Township, north of SR 795, for sewer work and manhole repair.  Project complete: July 2018.

Rossford – Buck and Lime City Road Water Line Relocation and Improvements
Effective Monday, January 29, through Friday, February 9, expect lane restrictions on Buck Road between I-75 and Lime City Road and on Lime City Road between I -75 and Marilyn Drive for waterline installation.  Traffic will be maintained by flaggers. 
Project complete: March. 

Weston – Waterline Project*NEW PROJECT*
Effective Tuesday, January 23 through Friday, January 26, Oak Street between Maple and Center Roads will be closed for soil boring and waterline installation.  Seek alternate route.  Effective Monday, January 29, through April, short-term intermittent lane restrictions are possible on Silver Street between Sugar Lane and Euler Street for waterline installation. Project complete: June.
