Tiger Wrestlers Compete at Sectional Tournament

PATTERSON BROTHERS ADVANCE TO DISTRICTS IN DIV III WRESTLING…………………

The North Baltimore High School wrestlers competed in Div III Sectionals at Van Buren Friday & Saturday, February 23rd & 24th. Senior David Patterson (39-1) and Freshman Jonathan Patterson (20-11) both finished 2nd in their weight class, advancing to Districts March 2nd & 3rd at Defiance High School. I

 

In the semi-finals, Jonathan defeated Patrick Henry’s Anthony Meyer 7-6. In the finals, Jonathan lost to Carey’s Reece Mullholand 16-4.

 

In the semi-finals, David Patterson defeated Riverdale’s Thane Gallegos 9-2. In the finals, David lost to Mohawk’s Daniel Price 2-0.

8th Grade Boys Basketball BVC Tournament @ Cory-Rawson

Basketball season comes to an end…………………

North Baltimore’s 8th grade boys’ team lost to Hopewell-Loudon in their 3rd BVC tournament game on Wednesday, February 21st, and then lost to Leipsic in the consolation game on Saturday, February 24th, finishing 4th in the tournament.

Hopewell-Loudon 8th grade boys finished 1st in the tournament defeating Pandora-Gilboa 48-44 in the championship game. For the 7th grade, Liberty-Benton won the tournament defeating Van Buren 44-29.
