3rd View and Chew Matinee Scheduled
The March “View and Chew” Matinee is scheduled for Wednesday, March 7, 2018 beginning at noon in the Wolfe Community Room of the North Baltimore Public Library.
The movie is free and those attending are encouraged to bring their lunch or a snack. Water and coffee will be provided.
This movie is for adults only. A movie license is purchased yearly by the Friends of the North Baltimore Public Library, which permits the showing of released movies. Although it is usually used to show children’s movies, the library decided to show movies for adults on a trial basis to determine interest.
The movie selected will be the recently released movie “Man Who Invented Christmas”. This movie is about how Charles Dickens created the characters and theme of the novella The Christmas Carol. He based his characters on people he knew. This novella changed the way that many of us look at the holiday season. It may not be Christmas but it lets us look into the creation of a holiday tradition. Remember, the movie is FREE!
