A new show starts at the Virginia Theater in NB

There is a new movie showing at the Virginia Theater in Downtown North Baltimore!

“Strange Magic,” a new animated film, is a madcap fairy tale musical inspired by “A Midsummer Night’s Dream.” Popular songs from the past six decades help tell the tale of a colorful cast of goblins, elves, fairies and imps, and their hilarious misadventures sparked by the battle over a powerful potion.

  1. YES !!! Don’t just go for the kiddies – adults want to support the Virginia with their attendance after keeping it open with $64,000 in donations!!! There are PG-13 films appropriate for family viewing and perhaps an occasional “R”.

  2. I agree with the previous comments. I was told that with the new digital equipment it is very easy to have multiple titles in the cue to be shown at preselected times, so that a more adult appealing title could be shown latter in the evening.
