Ann J. Feasel, 74 of Bloomdale

Ann J. Feasel, 74 of Bloomdale, passed away Tuesday, July 28, 2015, at the Bridge Hospice Care Center at Blanchard Valley Hospital, Findlay, surrounded by loved ones.

She was born on December 22, 1940, in Findlay, OH to the late Robert and Barbara (Boyd) Nichols. On August 27, 1961, she married Larry L. Feasel who passed on January 30, 1999.

She is survived by two daughters: Melissa (Jeff) Chapman of Bloomdale and Cynthia (Will) Devore of Findlay; a sister: Susan (Stewart) Cummings of
California; three grandchildren: Kayla Chapman, Kristi Chapman, and
Michael Chapman all of Columbus, OH; best friend: Ken Hoot of Bloomdale;
and beloved dog: Maggie II.

Ann graduated from Findlay High School in 1958, and then pursued a degree
in education at Bowling Green State University where she earned her degree
in 1962. She then spent 36 years doing what she loved, teaching children,
most notably at the Elmwood Local Schools as an elementary school teacher.

Following retirement, Ann volunteered her time as a docent at The Mazza
Museum at The University of Findlay providing art tours and also as a
volunteer tutor at Elmwood Middle school to 5th grade math students. In
her free time, she enjoyed cheering on The Ohio State Buckeyes, supporting
her grandchildren during sporting events, and meeting with the “Bloomdale
ladies” for social gatherings.

A celebration of Ann’s life will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, August
1, 2015, at SMITH-CRATES FUNERAL HOME, North Baltimore, with Pastor Dale
Schaefer officiating. Burial will be in Weaver Cemetery, Bloom Township.
Visitation will be held Friday from 4:00-8:00 p.m., at SMITH-CRATES
FUNERAL HOME. Memorial contributions may be made to: Bridge Home Health
and Hospice and/or Wood County Humane Society. Online condolences may be
