Anna B. Crouse, 85, of North Baltimore passed away on December 31, 2018. She was born on October 5, 1933 to the late Kenneth and Myrtle (Hillard) Spillman. She first married Norman Apple; they divorced and he preceded her in death. She then married Ron Douglas Crouse, Sr. on February 11, 1989 and he preceded her in death on September 2, 2014.
She is survived by three children: Kenneth (Jennifer Morris) Apple of
Findlay, Kip Apple of North Baltimore, and Kimela Ann Apple of North
Baltimore; two step-sons: Ronald (Pam) Crouse, Jr., and Greg Crouse, both
of IN; 18 grandchildren; 2 step-grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; and
9 great-great-grandchildren. A daughter, Cynthia Sue Johnson; her
step-father, Harry S. LeGore; and a sister, Barbara, also preceded her in
Anna worked for BGSU as the food service manager for over 13 years. She
was a member of the Eagles, N.B. American Legion Auxiliary, 4-H, Cub
Scouts, Girl Scouts, and Brownies. She ran a plaster craft shop in North
Baltimore and taught painting.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, January 6, 2018 at
SMITH-CRATES FUNERAL HOME with Pastor Deanna Lamb officiating. Burial will
follow in Weaver Cemetery, Bloom Twp. Visitation will be held from
2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Memorials can
