Approved Minutes from Henry Township Meeting

HENRY TOWNSHIP TRUSTEES, REGULAR MEETING
May 28, 2019

The regular meeting of the Henry Township Trustees was called to order by Chairman Stewart with the following members responding to roll call:  Present: Stewart, Wymer.  Absent:  Baltz.

It was moved by Wymer seconded by Stewart to approve the minutes of the regular meeting of May 14, 2019  as presented.   Roll call:  Ayes: Stewart, Wymer.  Nays:  None. Motion carried.

It was moved by Wymer seconded by Stewart that bills be approved for payment and checks issued for expenses totaling:  $  7,815.28   

Roll call:  Ayes: Stewart, Wymer.  Nays:  None.  Motion Carried.

Others Present: Skip Baltz, Don Spence

 Old Business

It was moved by Stewart, seconded by Wymer to award 2019 Resurfacing Project contract to Gerken Paving for a total of $535,331.30

Roll call:  Ayes: Stewart, Wymer.  Nays:  None.  Motion Carried.

 New Business

It was moved by Stewart seconded by Wymer that the following Resolution of Necessity be filed with the Wood County Auditor:

5 year – 1.5 mil Fire District starting 2019

5 year – 1 mil Road District starting 2019

Roll call:  Ayes: Stewart, Wymer.  Nays:  None.  Motion Carried.

  1. Baltz reported that a representative from Gerken Paving has been in contact for placement of road grindings associated with resurfacing project.

Stewart reported that maintenance agreement with North Baltimore Village for Quarry Rd. will be presented at the next council meeting.

It was moved by Stewart, seconded by Wymer to advertise for bids for Quarry Road with a bid opening at the June 25 meeting.

Roll call:  Ayes: Stewart, Wymer.  Nays:  None.  Motion Carried.

There being no further action to come before the Board the meeting was adjourned upon motion.
