Arlington tames Lady Tigers 47 – 34

The North Baltimore High School Girls Basketball team battled another BVC lead contender, as Arlington visited The Jungle for a make-up game Saturday afternoon.

Arlington, who has a fine 9 – 1 record and is one of the leaders in the Blanchard Valley Conference, had lost their first game of the season this week to state-ranked and BVC leader Liberty-Benton. The Devils hoped for an easier game, but found plenty of trouble at NBHS, as they had to battle to gain a one point halftime advantage, 25 – 24.

In the 3rd NB couldn’t hit the baskets, falling behind 36 – 30, with Arlington putting the game away in the final quarter for the 13 point win.
