Arlington Tops Tigers in BVC Football

The North Baltimore High School Tiger Football hosted Arlington 3 – 1, 4 – 2, in a Blanchard Valley Conference Football game at NB’s War Memorial Field. It was a beautiful night for football, as the Red Devils defense stifles NB for the win.

The Tigers came out and scored first, on a Brady Rader to Levi Gazarek TD pass from 3 yards out, but the Noah Brian extra point attempt was blocked, NB led 6 – 0. From there it was all Arlington, as they scored twice in the first quarter and four times in the 2nd quarter to build a 42 – 6 halftime lead. The final score was 49 – 6.

Arlington amassed 288 yards on 33 carries running the ball, with all of their scores coming on running plays, they tried only 6 passes, completing 3 for 53 yards.

NB’s offence struggled, finishing with minus 12 rushing yards on just 3 tries. Rader was 17 of 46 passing, with 2 interceptions and the one TD, for 149 yards. NB also lost two fumbles. Chase Naugle had 7 catches for 63 yards.

Kudos to the NB team for fighting till the end.

Also, it’s always fun to see the band perform their “Glow Show”
