Barb was a graduate of Montgomery Local High School and spent her career in banking, retiring from Sky Bank in North Baltimore. She loved music, church, Elvis, her dogs and her family. Family was very important to her. She loved any opportunity for a family gathering. She had such a deep love for her children and grandchildren, but her great-grandchildren brought her a special joy!! Late last year, she told her kids that there was one thing that she wanted to do more than anything else…to visit Graceland! She loved Elvis! Her wish came true this past December as she and her kids visited Graceland, and it was a wonderful family time for each of them as they made beautiful lasting memories!

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 5, 2017 at SMITH-CRATES FUNERAL HOME. Visitation will be held from 4:00-7:00 p.m. Tuesday and for one hour (10-11:00 a.m.) prior to the service Wednesday at the funeral home.
