Powell Elementary School in North Baltimore, Ohio has a secret benefactor that has stepped up to help elementary parents in the community again. This anonymous donor has donated consumable school supplies for the entire building for the last several years and has notified the school that they will do it again! This donation, which totals thousands of dollars, benefits both students and parents.
School supplies are just some of the expenses a family must take right before school starts. Besides school supplies parents must also pay fees and buy school clothes, tennis shoes, and book bags. The local donor wants to help parents with the expense by taking those school supplies off the list. Consumable supplies that will be paid for by the donor include pencils, paper, folders, crayons and other standard school supplies that the children will use during the year.
Parents are still expected to provide a book bag, tennis shoes, and some minor grade specific extras, all other school supplies are taken care of by our donor. The staff at Powell Elementary thanks our donor for once again helping our students to have the tools they need to be successful. We gratefully accept the donation.
