Betty Ann Ziegler, 86, of North Baltimore, died at 5:39 p.m., Wednesday, January 11, 2017, at the Bridge Hospice Care Center, Findlay.
She was born on July 13, 1930, in Wayne, Ohio. She married Paul E. Ziegler on August 20, 1955, and he preceded her in death on November 1, 1971. Betty is survived by her son, John Ziegler of North Baltimore; her daughters: Susan (Doug) Ebright of North Baltimore and Amy (Keith) Rogers of Meridian, Idaho; her grandchildren: Aaron (Vicky) Ebright of Wesley Chapel, FL, Ashley (Nick) Stahl of North Baltimore, Audrey Rogers and Andy Rogers, both of Meridian, Idaho; her
great-grandchildren: Nolan and Greyson Stahl, Aiden and Ethan Ebright.
She was also preceded in death by her mother, Edna (Kinsey) Strock; her brother, Harley Strock; her grandson, Andrew Ebright.
Betty had worked in the Admissions Department at Bowling Green State University prior to raising her family. She later worked many years for Dr. Roberts and then for the North Baltimore News.
She was a member of St. Luke’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, North Baltimore. She was also a former member of the Questettes.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, January 16, 2017, at St. Luke’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, North Baltimore, with Pastor Ralph Mineo officiating. Burial will be in Weaver Cemetery, Bloom Township. Visitation will be held on Sunday from 1:00-4:00 p.m., at SMITH-CRATES FUNERAL HOME, North Baltimore, and 1 hour (10-11 a.m.) prior to the funeral at church.
