Betty Jane Noykos, 86, of North Baltimore passed away at 12:05 p.m. on Sunday, February 15, 2015 at Blanchard Valley Hospital, Findlay.
She was born on October 22, 1928, in Wood County to the late William and Florence (Moyer) Rush. She married Raymond Noykos on October 30, 1961, and he preceded her in death on March 7, 2009.
Betty Jane is survived by her sons: Raymond “Ed” Noykos of Arcadia and Jerry (Amy) Noykos of Kimbolton, OH; her daughter, Toni (Randy) Barker of North Baltimore; her step-son, Steve (Lynnette) Noykos of Bryan, OH; her step-brothers: Richard Dodge of Toledo and Arthur Dodge of Marion; her step-sisters: Nancy (Bill) Smith of North Baltimore and Beverly Kapp of Russells Point, OH; 11 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her step-daughter, Jayne Bogart; her sisters: Della Rider and Pauline Cosenza; her step-brothers: Jay Dodge and Howard Dodge; her step-sister, Dora Santmire; and a great-grandchild.
Betty Jane retired was retired from R.C.A. She was a member of the North Baltimore American Legion Post 539 Auxiliary. Her greatest love in life was her grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m., Tuesday, February 17, 2015, at SMITH-CRATES FUNERAL HOME, North Baltimore, with Pastor Jim Baney officiating. Burial will be in Bethel/Ten Mile Cemetery, Portage Township. Visitation will be held 2 hours (10 a.m.-12 p.m.) prior to the funeral at the funeral home.
