Betty McGuire, 92, of North Baltimore, died at 7:43 p.m., Wednesday,
January 27, 2016, at the Bridge Hospice Care Center, Bowling Green. She
was born on April 3, 1923, in North Baltimore, to the late George R. and
Bertha (Burman) Ulch. She married Lewis “Mick” A. McGuire on November 13,
1942, and he preceded her in death on February 13, 2005.
Betty is survived by her sons: Lewis W. (Linda) McGuire of Jerry City and
Dennis McGuire of Paulding; her granddaughters: Amy Nesler and Dawn
McGuire; her great-grandchildren: Amber, Aaron, Ashley, Adrian, William
and Wade; her great-great-grandchildren: Austin, Xavier, Dameyn, Ayden,
Karson and Lilly.
She was also preceded in death by her sister, Mary Ellen Senne.
Betty was retired from Hercules Tire and Rubber and had formerly worked at
Norbalt Rubber.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, January 30, 2016,
at SMITH-CRATES FUNERAL HOME, North Baltimore, with Reverend Susan
Kronbach officiating. Visitation will be held 2 hours (11:00 a.m. – 1:00
p.m.) prior to the service Saturday at the funeral home.
Burial will be private in Wingston Cemetery, Liberty Township.
