Interest is high in the 2016 presidential election and, especially, the final presidential debate between Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump. The two candidates will meet face-to-face at the University of Nevada on Wednesday evening, October 19, in an event sponsored by the Commission on Presidential Debates.
Members of the BGSU community can watch Wednesday’s presidential debate showdown in Room 228 – the Multipurpose Room – of the Bowen-Thompson Student Union. Beginning at 8:30 p.m. free pizza will be served along with presidential debate trivia, just prior to the broadcast. All members of the BGSU community are welcome, regardless of political affiliation.
The debate watch party is sponsored by: Alpha Kappa Alpha; the Bowling Green Undergraduate Political Science Association; Center for Community and Civic Engagement; College Democrats; College Republicans; International Relations Organization; Law Society; Multicultural Greek Council; the Philosophy, Politics, Economics and Law Club; Undergraduate Student Government; and Young Government Leaders. An election night watch party will also be held on Tuesday, November 8.
