Interstate 75 Widening in Wood County
BOWLING GREEN (Tuesday, August 11, 2015) – The Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) District Two announces the following update to the I-75 widening project in Wood County. Updates are highlighted in bold and underlined:
Interstate 75: Widening – Wood & Hancock Counties (170-14, 199-14, 237-14 & 3000-14):
Interstate Restrictions:
Effective Friday, August 14 at 7pm, through Saturday, August 15 at 1pm, lane restrictions are possible on southbound I-75, from Cygnet Road to SR 18, for traffic pattern change. Additionally at this time, intermittent, short-term ramp closures are possible on the ramps from southbound I-75 to Cygnet Road (Exit 171), Cygnet Road to southbound I-75, southbound I-75 to Eagleville Road (Exit 168), Eagleville Road to southbound I-75, southbound I-75 to SR 18 (Exit 167), and SR 18 to southbound I-75. Detours will be posted. Motorists are advised of changing traffic patterns in this work zone.
Through November, overnight, from 7pm until 6am, single lane restrictions are possible on I-75 between the I-75/I-475 interchange in Perrysburg and CR 99 in Hancock County.
Through December, one lane of northbound I-75 traffic, from Roachton Road to US 20, is maintained in the northbound lane and one lane of northbound I-75 traffic, from Roachton Road to US 20, is maintained on southbound I-75. Through 2016, southbound I-75 is reduced to two lanes from US 20 to I-475 in Perrysburg. Through 2016, 11-foot lane width restrictions are in place on I-75 between US 20 in Perrysburg and CR 99 in Hancock County.
Ramp Restrictions:
Through September, the ramp from northbound I-75 to SR 582 is closed for pavement widening. Detour: SR 795; I-75 southbound. Additionally at this time, the ramp from SR 582 to northbound I-75 is closed for pavement widening. Detour: I-75 southbound; SR 64/SR 105.
Through July 2016, 11-foot lane width restrictions are in place on the ramps from northbound I-75 to Cygnet Road (Exit 171) and from Cygnet Road to northbound I-75.
Effective Saturday, August 15, through July 2016, 11-foot lane width restrictions are in place on the ramps from southbound I-75 to Cygnet Road (Exit 171) and from Cygnet Road to southbound I-75.
Through December, the ramp from southbound I-75 to westbound I-475 is reduced to one lane. The ramp from eastbound I-475 to northbound I-75 is permanently reduced to one lane.
Local Routes:
Through November, Jerry City Road at I-75 is closed for bridge work. Detour: SR 25; SR 281; Solether Road.
Through December, Township Road 101 in Hancock County, between CR 220 and TR 142, is closed for bridge work over I-75. Project complete: October 2017. All work is weather permitting.
