Black Swamp Players of Bowling Green is excited to bring an exciting new experience to the area. A three-night run of Tony Award winner “Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike” by Christopher Durang will be performed at the Clazel Theatre on N Main Street in Bowling Green on November 3, 4, and 5.
This hilarious play revolves around two siblings -Vanya and Sonia- who slide into middle age while their sister, Masha, becomes a (slightly sleazy) movie star. She arrives at the family homestead with her boy toy in tow, to deliver unwelcome news. Voodoo housekeeper Cassandra tries to warn everyone of impending doom, including Nina- the good girl next door who’s seen as a threat by the aging actress Masha. To add to the conflicts and confusion the characters are going to a costume party.
This great show, combined with a buffet of hors d’oeuvres, dessert, and coffee PLUS a cash bar, could be the most fun you’ve had in ages!
The doors open at 7, and the show starts at 7:30. Seating will be at table for 8.
Tickets are $25 and available at Grounds for Thought and online at [email protected]
