North Baltimore OH – Briar Hill Health Campus, a provider of senior health and hospitality services in North Baltimore, Ohio, recently teamed up with nine other Trilogy Health Services’ communities for a Lakeside Retreat from Tuesday, September 13th through Wednesday, September 14th.
Tuesday morning found residents from all ten Trilogy campuses talking excitedly as they loaded onto buses bound for Lakeside Chautauqua, a regular paradise of blue skies, lakefront views, and friendly people. Once there, the happy crowd broke off into groups to enjoy Tram Tours of the picturesque Lake Erie community. After taking in the scenery, residents could choose how to spend the remainder of their afternoon.
Some grabbed clubs and challenged one another to putt-putt golf. Others took to the Shuffleboard court, participated in a scavenger hunt or zoomed through the tree-lined streets on a golf-kart ride.
Shopping-enthusiasts explored Lakeside’s variety of unique boutiques, and those looking for an afternoon of quiet relaxation settled into comfy chairs on the pier to see if the fish were biting.
Hungry after the days’ excursions, residents and staff members met at Grillside for dinner, where they restored their energy with mouth-watering chicken, burgers, and classic picnic sides. Afterwards, they gathered in the Fountain Hall Aigler Room, where they were treated to the musical stylings of John Pickle before they retired for the evening, happy and exhausted.
The next morning was spent relaxing on Lakeside’s grounds and enjoying one another’s company before boarding the buses for the trip back home. Parting gifts for each resident included a Lake Chautauqua coffee mug, a heartfelt hug, and memories they can cherish for a lifetime.
