HOLLAND — The Alzheimer’s Association, Northwest Ohio Chapter, is sponsoring a three-part series for caregivers of those with Alzheimer’s disease on Tuesday, Oct. 25; Tuesday, Nov. 1 and Tuesday, Nov. 8, all from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Holland Branch of the Toledo Lucas County Public Library, 1032 S. McCord Road.
The series will offer insights to questions that arise during the early, middle and late stages of Alzheimer’s disease. Participants will hear from those directly affected and learn what they need to know, what they need to plan and what they can do along the way.
The first session will focus on basic information all caregivers should know. The Nov. 1 session will tackle challenging behaviors and communications and the Nov. 8 session will outline caregiver options and support.
The free series is open to the public and participants can attend one, two or all three sessions. For more information or to register, call the Alzheimer’s Association at 800-272-3900.
