Carolyn Jane (Snyder) Bowers of Bowling Green, Ohio, passed away at her
residence on July 24, 2018 at the age of 83.

Carolyn was born on March 24, 1935 in Cygnet, Ohio to the late Emery and
Lettie (Glassford) Snyder. She was the youngest of ten children. Carolyn
attended school in North Baltimore and Cygnet, Ohio. She graduated from
Nursing School as an LPN in 1966 and went to work at Wood County Hospital, retiring after many years. She also worked for the office of Dr. Shahada in Bowling Green. Carolyn attended the North Baltimore Church of Christ.

Carolyn married Allen Bowers in 1960 and they later divorced. One of the
happiest days of her life was when her son, Ray Allen Bowers was born in
1965. The second happiest days of her life was when her granddaughters,
Baylee and Mackenzy were born. Carolyn was very proud of her
granddaughters and loved attending their school functions and sporting
events. She loved to share about the girls and their games and
accomplishments.

Carolyn enjoyed people and never knew a stranger. Everywhere she went, she knew someone. She was friendly and quick to laugh. She enjoyed going
dancing and singing country music songs, especially with her brother Bob.
In the summer, you could find her most evenings at the home of her niece,
sitting in the swing and talking. Carolyn enjoyed traveling with her
friends and retired co-workers.

Survivors include her son, Ray (Aryann) Bowers, Bowling Green; her
granddaughters, Baylee and Mackenzy Bowers of Bowling Green; her brother Bob (Sandy Crawfoot) Snyder of Gibsonburg, Ohio, a sister, Thelma (Lee) Marsh of Ocala, Florida; and sister-in-law, Martha Snyder of Findlay,
Ohio.

Preceding her in death were her parents, Emery and Lettie Snyder; siblings
Violet Cooper, Mildred Ferguson, Roy Snyder, Harold Snyder, Bonnie Mason, Dorothy Hosler, and Loren (Chuck) Snyder.
