Heritage Holiday Delights All Ages
The Wood County Park District is delighted to invite the community to a free event this Saturday entitled Heritage Holiday. Join in the merriment at Carter Historic Farm and Zimmerman one-room schoolhouse from 1:00 – 4:00 pm on December 10th, 2016. Enjoy live music, heritage ornament making, cookies, hot cider, soup on the warming fire, storytelling and a visit from Santa.
Carter Historic Farm is a 1930s Living History Museum located at 18331 Carter Road, Bowling Green, Ohio. The Zimmerman one-room schoolhouse recently moved to the Carter Historic Farm property and will be utilized for programming.
Visit the farm and step back in time to the 1930s for first-hand knowledge of what farm life was like back in the day.
