Church of the Good Shepherd United Methodist
Church of the Good Shepherd United Methodist will celebrate Transfiguration Sunday on February 11, with worship beginning at 10:15 a.m. Rev. Susan Kronbach will preach ”The Glory of the Lord!” from the gospel of Matthew 17:1-8. Sunday School for youth and adults begins at 9:15 a.m. Sunday School for the children is held during worship, after the Children’s Moments.
Other activities at the church this week include choir practice this Wednesday following worship; and Women of Faith on Thursday, February 15, at 9:00 a.m. at the Iron Skillet Restaurant.
Special activities this week:
Fun Night on Sunday, February 11 from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. A light dinner and games for all ages – just let us know you’re coming by calling or emailing the church. (Note: Children must be accompanied by an adult)
Lenten Lunch – Wednesday, Feb. 14 at noon at Holy Family Catholic Church
Ash Wednesday Worship on Wednesday, Feb. 14 at 7:00 p.m. – a service of reflection and prayer – “Walking in the Wilderness with Jesus”
Bairdstown United Methodist Church
The Bairdstown United Methodist Church will celebrate Transfiguration Sunday on February 11, with worship beginning at 9:15 a.m. Rev. Susan Kronbach will preach from Matthew 17:1-8 – “The Glory of the Lord!” Sunday School class is held immediately following worship – and this Sunday we will gather for fellowship dinner at noon.
