Church of the Good Shepherd United Methodist will celebrate Transfiguration
Sunday on February 26, with worship beginning at 10:15 a.m.
Rev. Susan Kronbach will preach from Matthew 17:1-9 as we hear about the mountaintop
experience of some of those early followers. Sunday School for youth and adults is held at 9:15 a.m.; Sunday School for the children is during worship, after the moments with the children.
We will also be observing Ash Wednesday on March 1, with worship at 7:00 p.m. Our service will include the traditional sharing of ashes in remembrance of our mortality, as well as the invitation to begin the observance of Lent in preparation for Easter.
Other activities at the church this week include choir practice each Wednesday evening, this week at 8:00 p.m. following our Ash Wednesday service.
Bairdstown United Methodist Church
The Bairdstown United Methodist Church will celebrate Transfiguration Sunday on February 26, with worship beginning at 9:15 a.m.
Rev. Susan Kronbach will preach “Holy is the Lord!” from Matthew 17:1-9.
Sunday School class is held immediately following worship.
