The Budget Payment Plan allows customers to spread the cost of
heating bills evenly over the year and takes the guesswork out of

wholesale market and current rates for service and delivery.
Columbia Gas has also announced the April 2016 Standard Choice Offer
(SCO) price is $.33 per 100 cubic feet (ccf), compared to $.39 per
Ccf last year. This cost for natural gas is the lowest for the month
of April since 1996.
For those not on the budget, the average residential natural gas bill
for April is projected to be $62.56, marking a decrease of $9.91 from
the April 2016 average projected bill of $72.47.
Columbia Gas of Ohio customers are receiving much more than lower
prices this month. Compared to a decade ago, customer’s bills now
reflect the fixed delivery charges. With the implementation of the
Accelerated Gas Mains Replacement Program (AMRP), customers are

bi-monthly estimated bill.
