Connie L. Murlin, 84, of North Baltimore, passed away at 5:44 a.m. Friday, November 1, 2019, at her residence. She was born on August 8, 1935, in North Baltimore to the late Earl and Treva Marie (McCartney) Woodruff.
She married Richard J. Murlin on April 17, 1953 and he preceded her in death in 1995.
Connie is survived by her sons: Richard “Spike” (Rhonda) Murlin of North
Baltimore and Kris (Donna) Murlin of Fostoria; her daughters: Elizabeth
(Freeland) Southard of Madison, OH, Denise (Jeff) Shupe of North Baltimore
and Tamara (Bill) Meade of Plainfield, IL; her sisters: Sally (Karl) Singer
of Barrington Hills, IL and Cynthia Moore of Fostoria; her sisters-in-law:
Marie Woodruff and Paula Woodruff, both of North Baltimore; 14
grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death her brothers: Larry Woodruff, Dean Woodruff and Robert Greeno; her sister, Deanna Woodruff; her grandson, Jettson Murlin; her nephews: Brandon Moore and Kasey Singer.
Connie graduated from the Bowling Green School of Practical Nursing and
retired as an LPN. She enjoyed playing her violin in the evenings.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, November 5, 2019,
at SMITH-CRATES FUNERAL HOME, North Baltimore, with Pastor Bill Shoemaker
officiating. Burial will be in Weaver Cemetery, Bloom Township.
Visitation will be held from 5:00-8:00 p.m., Monday at SMITH-CRATES
FUNERAL HOME.
