III. New Business/Legislation
The Special meeting was for the EMS to purchase a used ambulance. Mr. Aaron Patterson wanted to know if there was anything wrong with it? Chief Walter said he drove it and he talked to the mechanic. Nothing out of the ordinary. He would like to have it tuned up even though it was in use when he looked at it. Thinking of alternating vehicles each month for the next 5years. Mr. Patterson also mentioned we should be putting money aside for when we need to purchase a new one we can fund it. Mr. Carles asked if it was going to be decaled. Yes, $1200 or less, the decals match up so that will help.
Mr. Aaron Patterson made a motion that ORDINANCE 2018-10 be read by number and title only for its first reading, dispense with the second and third readings, suspend the rules and declare an emergency. Second by Mr. Beegle.
