Cross Country Places 4th

The Varsity Boys and Girls both finished 4th place at this past weekends BVC XC Championships.
 
The Varsity Girls finished with two PR’s and two Career records and had their best top 5 average time of the season with a 24:50.

They were led by Lydia Hartman (22:23), who finished in the top 10 with a 10th place finish earning 2nd team all league honors.  Christina Schlak placed 14th running a career record time of 22:58, also earning 2nd team all league honors.  Alivia Delancy finished 16th with a career record time with 23:35, moving her into the top 25 all time list for NB.  Sydnee Smith (25:14) finished a strong race with a 20th place finish and Lucy Trout was 25th with personal season best of 30:00. Senior’s, Sydnee Smith and Chloe Lanning were named to the All Academic Team.  
 
The Varsity Boys finished with several PR’s and knocked down 9 more seconds for their best top average time with a 20:37.  The Tigers were led by Levi Tout (18:15) 5th place finish, earning him 1st team all league honors.  Wyatt Mowery just missed 2nd team honors with a 15th place finish with a season PR of 19:38.  Gabe Gazarek finished in the top 20, with his 20th place finish, with a PR of 20:24, just a few seconds of his career best.  Jordan Kimmel had his 3rd PR in a row, running a 21:21 finishing in 28th place.  Alex Trout also had his second PR in a row with a 23:26 placing in 34th place.  Darrian Zitzelberger (24:01) finished 38th and Jordan Coup (25:19) finished 42nd to round out the scoring spots for the team.  Wyatt Mowery was also named to the All Academic Team.
 
In the Junior High Boys race, Skyler Livingston ran negative mile splits to conclude his season, earning a 24th place finish with a career best time of 15:04.
 
The BVC also hosted an elementary race in which Kayden Livingston finished as the Girls Champion with a time of 7:28.
 
The Varsity Boys and Girls are back at Owens this Saturday for the district races, starting at 11AM.
