Darlene J. Leatherman, 69, of North Baltimore, died at 4:38 a.m., Wednesday, March 15, 2017, at Blanchard Valley Hospital, Findlay.
She was born on April 25, 1947, in Defiance to the late Alvine and Cecelia (Gerschutz) Wagner. She married Thomas Leatherman on November 27, 1981, and he survives.
Darlene is also survived by her son, Eric Moelter of Deshler; her daughter, Lisa (John) Zimmerman of Ottawa Lake, MI; her brothers: Kenneth (Norma) Wagner of Findlay and Joe (Carol) Wagner of Deshler; her sisters: Mary Maas of Custar, Janet Westhoven of Napoleon, Phyllis (Gary) Bechstein of Deshler and Colleen Croushore of Little Rock, CO; her beloved grandson, Brayden Zimmerman; several step-children, step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her brothers, Tom, Richard and Donald Wagner. Darlene retired from Sherwin Williams in Deshler after 37 years. She was an active member of Holy Family Catholic Church, North Baltimore, where she helped assist with Communion to those members unable to attend church.
She enjoyed traveling, being with friends, but her greatest love in life was spending time with her family and especially her grandson.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, March 20, 2017, at the Holy Family Catholic Church, North Baltimore. Father Arthur J. Niewiadomski Celebrant. Burial will be in New Maplewood Cemetery, North Baltimore. Visitation will be held from 1:00-5:00 p.m., Sunday at SMITH-CRATES FUNERAL HOME, North Baltimore, where a Scripture Service will be held at 12:15 p.m.
