“We have 56 students signed up at last count we would like to have all 7th and 8th graders attend this wonderful learning experience. Please don’t hesitate to ask about the World Strides financial assistance program. Some students have already said that they qualified for some sort of discount. It is better to ask and be denied that not to have asked. I have been told that the discount could be as much as $100. With the fundraising that we have done so far students are looking at approximately $40 being applied to each students account. Thank you to those that purchased candles and McDonald’s we appreciate it.” said Mrs. Matthes.

The DC trip is a wonderful experience for both child and adult. I attended with the group, not as a chaperone, but as a parent just to go along since I had not been there. I am so glad I went along when my son went on the trip. It was an experience both of us would not have experienced had it not been for the class trip. If there is any way you are able to have your child go to DC it is well worth it! Thank you NBLS for offering the opportunity to go.
