Donations are being accepted for a family whose home was destroyed in an explosion near Hoytville early Monday. You can drop off items in Findlay today and Thursday.
Because the home was a total loss, all donations, including household items, clothing, furniture and gift cards of any kind, or cash donations to help with rent and/or utilities will be appreciated.
Keith and Christine Siferd and their three grandchildren, all boys — two aged 16 and one aged 7 were all residents of the home, they all escaped unharmed.
There will be a U-Haul at All Service Auto, 222 N. Main St., Findlay, today (9/16) and Thursday (9/17) from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. to accept donations.
Family members are assisting the Siferds and can be contacted for more information at 419-422-2063.

Another great help to the family is the Fire Relief Foundation out of Findlay, they can help with A Lot, and they are there to help for up to a year after the event!! The founder, Emily Stevers, is wonderful to work with and has been through the aftermath of a fire herself, her foundation is there to help up to 12 months after the event!!
