Donna C. Davis, 88, of North Baltimore, passed away at 2:15 a.m., Tuesday, December 26, 2017, at Briar Hill Health Campus, North Baltimore. She was born on January 24, 1929, in North Baltimore to the late Paul and Manah (Bland) Sterling.
She married Paul Whitehead and he preceded her in death. She later married Don Perry (deceased) and they were divorced.
She would then marry Shockley Davis and he preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her longtime special friend, Tom Drake.
Donna is survived by her daughters: Paula Woodruff of North Baltimore, Dawn Boyer of North Baltimore, Pam (Wayne) Combs of Berea, KY and Kim (Russell) Lincoln of Virginia Beach, VA; her 7 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Chrissy King; and her sons-in-law, Dean Woodruff and Lynn Boyer.
Donna had worked for Norbalt Rubber in North Baltimore, then Centrex in Findlay and lastly Smith’s Foundry in North Baltimore for several years. She was member of the North Baltimore American Legion Post 539 Auxiliary and the Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie #2633. She loved all types of music especially Bluegrass.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, December 29, 2017, at SMITH-CRATES FUNERAL HOME, North Baltimore, where visitation will be held 2 hours (12-2 p.m.) prior to the service at the funeral home. Her son-in-law, Wayne Combs will be officiating. Burial will be in New Maplewood Cemetery, North Baltimore.
