Donna Louise (Meeker) Ebersole passed away peacefully on August 27, 2015, in her hometown of North Baltimore, Ohio, after a long illness. She is survived by her husband, Charles Gene, children: Dave (Sue) Ebersole, North Baltimore; Doug (Willa) Ebersole, Columbus, and Beth (Clay) McCartney, Van Buren; sister Kay Meyers, Orlando Florida, brother Leo David (Donna) Meeker, Findlay; Grandchildren: Lindsay Bohnstedt, Lauren Branscum, Brooke Ebersole, Kelly McCartney; Great Grandchildren: Audrey, Madelyn and Elijah Bohnstedt and Sarah Branscum; Step-Grandchildren: Ronnie (Kim) Worcester, Kasey (Josh) Hagemayer and six step-great-grandchildren.
Donna was born in Wayne, Ohio, on July 9, 1934, to parents Leo and Esta (Pierce) Meeker, both deceased. She married the love of her life Charles Gene on July 21, 1953, after graduating from Cygnet High School in 1952. She worked over 30 years as a secretary at Norbalt Rubber while raising her family.
Gatlinburg, Tennessee, was one of her favorite destinations and she was proud to have visited 49 states. Donna also enjoyed spending time with her family, gardening, playing the piano/organ, boating and camping but not in a tent at Crooked Lake, Indiana.
She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. The Ebersole Family thanks the staff at Briar Hill Health Campus. A funeral service will be at 11:00 am, Monday, August 31, 2015, at SMITH-CRATES FUNERAL HOME, 515 North Main Street, North Baltimore.
