On Friday, December 4, 2015 the doors were opened and dads were welcomed to Powell Elementary School to enjoy a cup of coffee and a donut with their child.
Approximately 400 dads, grandpas, and special friends joined students for a donut and a little quality time at the beginning of the day. Many expressed that they were glad that this tradition was being re-established. The breakfast was served by Phyllis Hartigan, Marilyn Ziegler, Theresa Ferguson, and Leona Augsberger.
