Work has begun on the Downtown North Baltimore Revitalization Infrastructure Project, but this will mean about 90 days of major hassle for Downtown NB business and their customers.
The major things to know about the project:
- Traffic is being maintained on North Main, but there is NO PARKING in the 100 block! The lanes of traffic are 10 feet, so GO SLOW!!!
- Broadway Street is CLOSED at North Main. This will be needed for a logical progression of the project to coninue into the 200 block in the next year or so.
- The town has been working on “this project” since the late 1980’s, while it is not perfect and it has some shortcomings, it is a start and going to ge some progress!
