Drew Rister, 25

of North Baltimore, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, May 11, 2019 at his residence. He was born on September 13, 1993, to Chad and Abbi (Dukes) Rister and they survive.

Drew is also survived by his brother, Brandon (fiancé Megan) Rister of Findlay; his sister, Emma Rister of North Baltimore; his paternal
grandmother, Jean Rister of Van Buren; his maternal grandparents: Steve and Jean Dukes of North Baltimore; his maternal great-grandmother, Jan Dukes of North Baltimore; his paternal great-grandmother, Sally Halstead of North Baltimore; his nephew, Colton of Findlay; his aunts and uncles: Jeff and Shel Flick, Lori Pryor and Megan Dukes; numerous cousins and
friends; and his beloved dog, Bear.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Harold “Tom” Rister.

Drew was a 2012 graduate of North Baltimore High School. He was currently employed the last 2 years with Vaughn Industries, where he was an apprentice for Substation Technician.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, May 17, 2019, at SMITH-CRATES FUNERAL HOME, North Baltimore, with Pastor Eric Reza officiating. Burial will be in New Maplewood Cemetery, North Baltimore.

Visitation will be held from 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00 p.m., Thursday at SMITH-CRATES FUNERAL HOME, and 1 hour (10-11 a.m.) prior to the service at the funeral home.
