UPDATED – Downtown Waterline Project Begins

The contractor for the Downtown North Baltimore Waterline Project moved equipment and workers into town on Friday, March 17.

The east side of Main Street is now closed to parking, starting today, March 20, from 6 am to 5 pm, from the tracks to Broadway. The workers cut the pavement in this area on Friday, along with placing No Parking Signs and placed construction cones.

Traffic is maintained. There is parking available at the Millstream Area Credit Union lot at the corner of Main and Broadway. Parking is also available, but limited, in the village lot next to Subway. This is the staging area for equipment and materials for the waterline project. Parking is also available up the west alley, behind the Virginia Theater.

Work will be taking several weeks.

Here is a previous press release from the village regarding the project:  Previous article – Downtown Waterline Project
