Four North Baltimore High School seniors will travel on an alternative spring break trip this year, to help build houses with Habitat for Humanity in Port Huron, MI. The senior girls went through an application process and were chosen based on their essay responses and dedication for service.
The four girls, Mariah Archer, Allison Beaupry, Leslie Busch, and Lindsay Davis will be spending five days of their spring break working for a minimum of eight hours a day on the project. Ms. Lauer, junior and senior English teacher, will be advising the trip.
In order for them to attend and help out to the best of their ability, they need to raise $1000 by March 28, 2015.
The girls would like to thank the NB Eagles #2633, Mid-wood, Dawn’s Flower Shop, and Lennard’s Greenhouse for already contributing to their cause, but they need YOUR help!
Mid-wood has generously donated nine raffle baskets to help raise funds. If you would like a raffle ticket, please contact Ms. Stefanie Lauer at the high school at 419-257-3436 or [email protected] by Wednesday, March 26th.
Tickets will be one for a $1 or seven tickets for $5. The drawing will take place on the 27th and winners will be contacted by phone. Winning baskets can then be picked up on Friday the 28th during the school day until 4 p.m. or on Saturday from 7 – 9 p.m. during the Zumba Marathon.
If you do not wish to buy a raffle ticket, but would like to support this great cause, please contact Ms. Lauer as well.
Thank you for your support!
