Council Meeting

Apr 4, 2017

1) Income tax collections 2017 vs. 2016 as of 3/31/2016:

 

2) The Bill List from 03/18/2017 – 03/31/2017 is included for council review and approval.

3) Collections to Note:

a. Wood County Auditor – Real estate property settlement: $235,896.44

4) March’s Great Lakes collections and fund reports will be distributed at next week’s COTW

5) Ohio Checkbook – I attended a conference call featuring the Village’s website. I will review further and update council when it goes live.

6) The Village 2015-2016 audit is currently underway.

7) CCA taxpayer assistance will be on 4/12 from 3-8. Assistance will take place here at the village municipal building.

FIRST READINGS

1) Appropriation Ordinance: Increase the water and wastewater budgets by $6,200.00 for the LMI survey.

SECOND READINGS

1) Appropriation Ordinance 2017-06: Increase the fire budget by $1,445.20. The fire dept. was reimbursed for hazmat services rendered. Chief Francisco has requested these funds be put into his budget. The appropriation is in the same amount as the reimbursement.

a. Henry Twp: ½ Annual Fire Agreement Payment: $17,211.52

b. Henry Twp: ½ Annual EMS Agreement (less Jan pmt): $17,708.00

4) Ohio Checkbook – I am in the final stages of finalizing the website – This will be going live this month.

FIRST READINGS

1) Appropriation Ordinance: Increasing the 901 fund, Parks and Rec, and Cemetery budgets respectively. Total budget increase is $6,999.00 for the purchase of a new mower, based on pricing from Casey’s.

SECOND READINGS

1) Appropriation Ordinance 2017-09: Increase the water and wastewater budgets by $6,200.00 for the LMI survey.
