Findlay·Hancock County Alliance Announces New Staff Members

Meyer hired as Hancock Leadership Coordinator and Heaton hired as Marketing Coordinator

(FINDLAY, OH, May 15, 2015) – The Findlay Hancock County Alliance has hired two new staff members to its team.

Hancock Alliance 1Carol Meyer – Carol Meyer is Findlay·Hancock County Chamber’s newest Hancock Leadership Coordinator. Meyer will be facilitating both the Hancock Leadership and Hancock Youth Leadership programs which are sponsored by the Findlay·Hancock County Chamber of Commerce, a division of The Alliance. Meyer’s skills include recruitment, marketing, advertising and public relations. Meyer joins The Alliance with over eight years of professional experience in marketing and communications. Meyer’s career started in Columbus where she served as the assistant director of admissions at The Ohio State University managing and developing recruitment efforts for the Admissions Office. Before joining The Alliance, Meyer worked as the marketing and communications manager at Baker & Hostetler, Counsellors at Law in Columbus, where she coordinated all of its marketing, advertising and public relations programs. Meyer received her Bachelor’s degree in communication from The Ohio State University and her Associate’s degree in business from Indiana University. Within the community Carol is involved in Thursday Conversation Club, First Presbyterian Church Women’s Ministry, a Trojan Race Committee member and a NAMI volunteer. Meyer and her husband reside in Findlay, Ohio. They have three children.

Hancock Alliance 2Sierra Heaton – Sierra Heaton is Findlay·Hancock County Alliance’s newest Marketing Coordinator. Heaton is a recent graduate of The University of Findlay. Heaton’s skills include marketing, public relations, design and photography. Heaton will be leading The Alliance’s print and electronic communications and heading promotion of Alliance events and activities. Heaton received her Bachelor’s degree in agricultural communications from The University of Findlay. Heaton has held past internships with Marathon Center for the Performing Arts and The University of Findlay’s Marketing and Communications offices, and Trupointe Cooperative, Inc.
