The North Baltimore Lady Tiger softball team wasted little time in dispensing with the McComb Panthers in the opening round of the OHSAA Softballl Sectional, scoring 4 runs in the first and 5 in the 2nd to advance to Ayersville for the Sectional Championship game.
Cheyenne Herndandez (7 – 6) pitched well, giving up just three hits.
NB banged out 12 hits in the 14 – 0 win, led by Makenna Ray with 2 singles a triple and an RBI, Kaitlyn Weinandy has a pair of doubles and 3 RBI, Bailey Boyer had a double and 2 RBI, Hernandenz helped her cause with 2 singles and 2 RBI.
The Sectional Championship game at Ayersville is Thursday, May 14, 5:00 pm.
