Frank C. Welch, 83, of North Baltimore, died at 1:49 a.m., Wednesday, December 2, 2015, at the Wood County Hospital, Bowling Green.
He was born on February 4, 1932, in Findlay to the late Frank G. and Kathryn (Miller) Welch. He married Dorothy Echelberger on February 4, 1950, and she preceded him in death on September 4, 1990.
Frank is survived by his fiancé of 15 years, Kathleen Parsons of North Baltimore; his sons: Tom (Donna) Welch and Fred (LuAnn) Welch, both of North Baltimore; his daughter, Peggy (Pat) McManaway of Logan, OH; his grandchildren: Jim (Lisa) Welch, Dan Welch, Loren (Cheyanne) Welch, Teresa (Will) Matthes, Christina (Brett) Ross and Emily Braham; 17 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandson. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Richard Welch.
Frank retired in 1990 from Libby Owens Ford in Rossford. He was a member of the F.O.E. #2633 and American Legion Post 539. He was an avid Ohio State Buckeye and Cleveland Browns fan, and loved Western movies and novels.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, December 5, 2015, at SMITH-CRATES FUNERAL HOME, North Baltimore, with Reverend Susan Kronbach officiating.
Burial will be in Weaver Cemetery, Bloom Township. Visitation will be held from 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00 p.m., Friday at SMITH-CRATES FUNERAL HOME.
