Friends of the Library Fall Book Sale
The sale is open to the public
October 8th : 9 am – 7:30 pm
October 9th: 9 am – 4:30 pm
October 10th: 9 am – 1 pm
$4 per bag on Saturday!
There is a Friends of the Library only pre-sale on Wednesday, October 7th: 5 pm – 7:30 pm
Volunteers Needed
We are in need of a number of volunteers to help set up and then run the book sale in the Wolfe Community Room. The set up will begin on Wednesday, October 7th. The more people who help, the faster the sorting and unboxing of books! Then, we need people willing to check out those who come to buy books each day of the sale. We usually have two people work a 3 hour shift during the Thursday through Saturday hours. On Saturday we are looking for people who will help us sort and pack up the remaining items for an hour. Please sign up on the large schedule at the Main Circulation desk.
2016 Membership Drive
The 2016 Membership Drive will begin during the Fall Book Sale. We are hoping to exceed 60 memberships by the end of December.
Memberships will continue to be accepted throughout the year. Application forms are available at the Circulation Desk of the Library. Everyone is encouraged to sign up today!
